Ade Adepitan

Ade Adepitan is a British television presenter and wheelchair basketball player. After contracting polio as a child, he lost the use of his left leg and has since used a wheelchair. Originally born in Lagos, Nigeria but moving to the U.K. at the age of three, he began playing wheelchair basketball and competing in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens for bronze and in the 2005 Paralympic World Cub for gold.

Adepitan has been featured on many television programs and series as an actor and presenter, particularly on BBC. He uses television as a platform to campaign against racism and disability discrimination.
